Delete Many Messages in your Groups Archive
Gordon S. created this script and Paul hosts it on his site:
Delete Messages in a Yahoogroup's Message Archive
It opens a framed view of Yahoogroups, you sign in on the bottom part, find your group and then use the script on the top part of the screen to specify where to start and how many to delete.
Last updated on December 26, 2003 09:16 PMHow about making one that handles deleting Link section Bookmarks en masse? The spammers are now hitting these pretty hard, witness:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/[deleted]/links
There's almost no way I've any hope of manually trashing all that crap.
Posted by: Bill Kearney at March 16, 2004 01:59 PMThere's no way to mass delete links at Yahoogroups, it can only be done one at a time.
(Also remember that a group's link section is not necessarily public and posting that url just shows the "you are not a member of this group" page.)
Are the spam links actually in the links section? Or are they in the clipboard? That's usually where spammers put them, in the clipboard and if that's the case, (iirc) you can empty the clipboard to get rid of all of them.

Not much point in posting the url if you're just going to disable it. :)
